County Foods Ltd, an established Catering Butchers based in Poole, are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their Accounts team of four. This role is part-time, up to 30 hours per week, worked over 5 days (Monday to Friday) in the office. Hours will be discussed and agreed at interview, but must be completed during normal office hours of 8:00 a. m. and 4:00 p. m. Salary pro rata; between \xc2\xa324,000 and \xc2\xa326,000 per annum, dependent upon previous experience. The Credit Controller will be responsible for designated sales ledger accounts within the accounts and credit control team. This will involve liaising regularly with customers, the field sales representatives, sales office, and senior managers within the business. Responsibilities: Processing New Credit Applications and maintaining up to date customer details. Balancing, processing, and allocating daily receipts on to the accounting system when required. Regular customer contact by phone and email to ensure invoices are cleared for payment. Resolving account queries. Monitoring overdue payments and escalating when necessary. Ensuring Customers using EDI reconciles. Adjusting when necessary. Producing monthly consolidated invoices and providing customer statistics as required. Carrying out ad hoc tasks and reports within the Accounts department as required. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and have acquired the following skills: Previous experience of dealing with high volume ledgers Excellent communication skills Strong team player Strong IT skills, proficient in Excel and Microsoft applications Excellent attention to details and organisational skills Experience of working with SAGE would be advantageous.
