Job Purpose:

The Site Leader is responsible for the running, organisation and development of the assigned provision, including children, staff and visitors to ensure an outstanding service is provided that delights our parents and children and all regulatory requirements are met and exceeded

Key Responsibilities

Services Safeguarding including Health and Safety External Regulators and Awards Leadership and Management Other general duties

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday (4 or 5 days chosen by candidate) Term-time only (school holiday work is available for candidates wanting all year employment) 20 to 25 hours per week (decided by candidate) 1pm to 6.15pm (earlier finish and start times available)

Salary and Terms:

26,231.09 to 27,856.47 (pro-rata)

Desirable Requirements:

NVQ level 5 playwork, teaching or relevant childcare qualification; 5 years experience of working with 4 - 12 year olds in a childcare or education setting; Current First Aid qualification; Current Health and Safety qualification; Current Food Hygiene certificate; and Current Group 4 Child Protection certificate.

Essential Requirement:

NVQ level 3 playwork, teaching or relevant childcare qualification plus 3 years experience of working with 4 to 12 year olds in a childcare or education setting. GSCE (or equivalent) in Maths and English. If needed, be prepared to train in First Aid, Health and Safety, Child Protection (Group 4) and Food Hygiene Level 2.
