About Our Client
My client is part of a large HGV dealer group with multiple sites across the UK - providing sales and aftersales for their specific market.
The Parts Advisor position in Corby, will be working at a VMU, smaller dealership / branch than a main dealership.


Parts Advisor. The job will entail supplying parts via front/back counter, stock checks, audits, customer relations, supplying technicians with parts, ordering parts/stock, purchasing stock, updating customers, invoicing, face to face sales. Overall smooth efficient running of parts department.

Our client is open to looking at applicants from a Light Commercial, Agriculture or Engineering background, wanting to move into HGV - full training is provided for the right candidate whom shows enthusiasm, willingness to learn and commitment.

For a small part of this job, you will be asked to cover the front desk, help the service advisors, bookings clerk when not busy - but the main focus will be running a parts department.

The Successful Applicant

• A proven Automotive Parts Department experience, of selling Car, Van, Agri, LGV & HGV Commercial vehicle parts.
• Being sales focused.
• The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
• Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
• All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.

What\'s on Offer
Pay rate: Between \xc2\xa326kpa - \xc2\xa328kpa basic salary + quarterly bonus on company profits (\xc2\xa3300 - \xc2\xa3400)
Hours: Based on a 42.5 hour week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm + every other Sat from 8am to 12pm.
