Overview:
The Moray Firth Coastal Partnership is seeking an experienced Partnership Manager to lead the MFCP through its next phase of growth and impact. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about coastal sustainability, stakeholder collaboration, and regional marine planning to take a strategic leadership role in a small but influential organisation.
Key Responsibilies
- Manage MFCP''s governance, operations, and financial reporting (as a charity and company).
- Develop and implement strategic and business plans with the Board.
- Secure funding and manage relationships with funders.
- Lead development and delivery of coastal and marine projects aligned with MFCP's priorities, including recruitment and staff management where applicable.
- Represent MFCP at regional and national levels, including the Marine Directorate and planning forums.
- Build and maintain partnerships across sectors: public, private, academic and community
- Lead communications strategy (website, newsletter, social media)
- Support inclusive stakeholder dialogue and advocate for Integrated Coastal Zone Management principles.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. environmental management, marine policy, coastal science).
- Proven project and organisational management experience,
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing grant funding.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong digital literacy and competence in reporting and documentation
- Ability to work independently and with diverse groups.
- Experience in charity or public sector governance.
- Knowledge of Scottish marine policy and planning frameworks
