If you\'re looking for a role where you can develop your existing nursing skills and learn something new every day in an environment that never stands still, then this could be the opportunity for you.As a Senior Substance Misuse Nurse you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, prioritising patient care to develop individualised packages of care through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning. You will deliver a range of treatment options including clinical and psychosocial interventions in both a group and 1-1 setting with recovery at the centre of our healthcare wellbeing model. You must be able to carry out comprehensive assessments, initiate and review individual recovery plans and confidently communicate the full range of treatment options available to service users. You will monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects and liaise with prescribers.What you\'ll be doingYou will be a qualified Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an environment that is ever changing. You\'ll also have a RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake this to support you in your development. Experience of working with opiate dependant patients is advantageous for this role, as well as sound clinical substance misuse knowledge.How will we support you?

This is a part time role working up to 34.5 hours per week.You\xe2\x80\x99ll receive an annual salary up to \xc2\xa346,200 per annum FTE - depending on experience.It doesn\xe2\x80\x99t stop there\xe2\x80\xa6 we also offer:

What we\'ll look for in youHMP Full Sutton is a Category A and B men\xe2\x80\x99s prison in the village of Full Sutton in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is a half an hour drive from York city centre.
