Job Description

Edinburgh Badminton Academy is one of the UK's leading badminton clubs with over 900 members, 4 full time and 50 part time coaches.

We are looking for an enthusiastic part time badminton coach to join our team. As a coach, you will be responsible for assisting lead coaches at our sessions. As you progress, you may start leading sessions and taking on more responsibility. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is open to learning and keen to help players of all ages and levels improve their game.

Key Responsibilities:

Helping conduct on-court coaching sessions for players of all levels and ages Developing and maintaining positive relationships with players, parents, and coaches
Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in playing badminton Good organizational and timekeeping skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong teamwork abilities Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Desirable:

Experience with sports coaching Experience working with children Badminton coaching qualification
On court coaching hours will largely be evenings and weekends. We have flexibility to work the hours that suit you and have availability for anything from 3 to 9 hours per week. After 6-8 months+ of experienced is gained, there is potential for up to 15 hours per week, if we think you are highly suitabile for the role.
