About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, warm, and confident

Parent and Child Swim Instructor

to join the Cwac Cwac's family.
This role is all about creating unforgettable first experiences for families in the water -- building bonds, trust, and water confidence that last a lifetime.

As part of our highly respected team, you'll lead small, nurturing classes for children aged 3 months to 5 years alongside their parents or carers, using play-based learning, structured progression, and lots of encouragement.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver joyful, structured parent-and-child swimming lessons

for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.

Build confidence, emotional security, and swimming foundations

in a warm, supportive environment.

Create a calm, welcoming, and professional class atmosphere

-- making parents feel empowered and children feel safe.

Tailor your teaching

to suit each child's pace and developmental stage.

Demonstrate and teach water safety practices

in a way that is natural, non-intimidating, and easy for families to remember.

Celebrate milestones

with families and track each child's growth and achievements.

Communicate clearly and warmly

with parents/carers about their child's progress.

Ensure health and safety is always prioritised

-- maintaining clean, secure, and positive spaces at all times.
What We're Looking For

Genuine

love for working with young children and families

. Experience teaching

early years

,

swimming

, or other

sports coaching

-- or a strong willingness to train. Confident swimmers who are calm, patient, and engaging communicators. Ability to adapt to children's individual needs, including those with SEN or additional requirements. Positive, friendly, and highly professional attitude. Flexible with working hours (primarily weekday mornings and weekends). Swim teaching or lifeguarding qualifications are beneficial but

full training can be provided

for the right person.
