About us:

Quarry Bank Medical Centre is a well-established, community-focused GP surgery committed to delivering safe, high-quality, compassionate care. We are now recruiting a qualified and experienced Paramedic Practitioner to join our dedicated clinical team.

This permanent, part-time post (32 hours/week) offers a varied and autonomous role within a supportive primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct clinical triage of same-day appointment requests

- Undertake face-to-face consultations within the practice

- Carry out home visits to patients unable to attend the surgery

- Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for a wide range of conditions

- Support chronic disease management, health promotion, and urgent care pathways

- Work collaboratively with the wider

multidisciplinary team

Essential Requirements:

- Registered Paramedic (HCPC)

- V300 Independent and Supplementary Prescriber

- Minimum 2 years' post-registration experience in a primary care or urgent care setting

- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills

- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Desirable skills and Experience:

- Proficiency with EMIS, AccuRx, and Docman

- Experience managing frailty, chronic disease, and urgent presentations

- Completion of Level 7 Advanced Clinical Assessment

- Minor illness and injury management

- ALS certification

- Community paramedicine, an integrated care experience

- Leadership, mentorship, and involvement in service development or quality improvement
