Main responsibilities




Pursuing debtors across a broad range of Commercial/Asset Finance debts including consumer, factoring, salary overpayments, and motor finance Processing cases in respect of debt recovery actions from issuing initial demand letters and corresponding with clients and debtors. Raising court actions within the sheriff courts ensuring that timescales are maintained. Providing clients with telephone and written support within the clients' service agreement. Liaising internally with finance/operations teams and other departments. Preparing court instructions prior to instructing local agents/solicitors to appear at court. General admin duties. Diary Management. Monitoring payment arrangements. Provide support to the Paralegals/Senior Paralegals and Solicitors. Manage inbound and outbound calls to ensure the best outcome for our client. Taking personal responsibility for compliance with all relevant client and internal Service Level Agreements.

Skills and qualifications




Good written, numeracy and oral communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. IT literate including knowledge of Word, Excel and the internet. Ability to prioritise, be organised and efficient. Flexibility with the capability to adapt to change, new practices and cope under pressure but with the ability to recognise when to seek assistance. Able to integrate within a team and able to work on your own initiative. Be pro-active and self-motivated with a positive approach. Previous experience in an office environment is beneficial although not essential as full training will be provided.
