We have an exciting opportunity for a Charity/Corporate Paralegal to join our growing Commercial Group in Southampton.
The Paralegal role will work closely with both the Charity and Corporate Teams on a range of legal and administrative tasks. The role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to join a dedicated team who they can support and learn from in both Charity and Corporate law.

Whilst a background working in a law firm or knowledge of Charity or Corporate law is not a pre-requisite, this role will be most suitable for a law graduate or someone with demonstrated knowledge of legal systems. For inexperienced candidates, the dedication to learn and build skills from the ground-up is essential. You will be supported by the wider team but also expected to work somewhat independently and able to manage/prioritise your own tasks.
It is expected that this Paralegal role will include undertaking administrative duties such as file opening, client due diligence, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, billing, archiving, generating reports and handling travel and diary management for fee earners.
However, there is flexibility to take on more legal work for the right candidate. This is someone who is dedicated and demonstrates an ambition to develop their legal skills and knowledge. Such an individual will have the opportunity to take on legal tasks such as drafting legal documents, attending client meetings, responding to enquiries and undertaking business development/marketing.
