We are seeking a Paralegal to join our dynamic team at Hyve. In this role, you will provide essential legal support to ensure compliance and assist with various legal matters within the organisation. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal with 1-3 years' experience looking to deepen their legal career in an international technology business.
Key Responsibilities
Support the drafting, review, and negotiation of a range of commercial contracts (including NDAs, Service Agreements, Service Orders, DPAs, and partnership agreements).
Support contract negotiation processes with clients and suppliers, tracking comments, maintaining version control, and ensuring timely execution.
Assist with contract lifecycle management and the implementation of improved legal document management systems.
Conduct legal research and provide summaries or recommendations, particularly in the areas of UK, EU, and U.S. commercial, tech, and contract law.
Assist with corporate governance and internal legal administration, including maintaining company records, drafting board minutes, and supporting regulatory filings.
Support internal teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Technical Support) by providing timely, practical legal input.
Assist the legal team with the development and upkeep of templates, legal playbooks, and internal guidance documents.
Key Requirements
Law degree (LLB or equivalent) or GDL; LPC or SQE1 preferred but not required.
1-3 years of experience as a paralegal, ideally in-house within a commercial or technology-driven business.
Solid understanding of UK contract law and experience working on B2B agreements.
Exposure to cross-border commercial work or familiarity with U.S. or EU legal principles (especially in contracting) is highly desirable.
High attention to detail, with strong written communication and legal drafting skills.
Proactive and well-organised, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment where responsiveness and practical thinking are key.
