Paralegal Apprenticeship



Due to the Apprenticeship criteria we are unable to accept applications from candidates that have a higher qualification in the area of law than this Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship. The vacancy requires candidates that have left school, college or university, as they need to be available immediately. Future Prospects



Possible full time position at the end, with a starting salary of 19,000. Other positions are unknown at this time but will be discussed close to the ending of the apprenticeship Apprentice will get key development working with an Investors in Peoplesilver accredited firm, so are constantly learning and developing as we look after progress.

The Law Practice



We practice in the following areas of law;

Asset Recovery Civil Fraud Financial Wrongdoing Bribery & Corruption Corporate Investigations Professional Discipline & Regulatory

Your role



Answers the telephone and provides exceptional customer service to internal and external contacts. Supports line manager and other colleagues Arranges client meetings Attends meetings and takes meeting notes Deals with key property related administration Using online case management system Logs into and updates various portals Updates and manages records and files Undertaking research Performs other related duties as assigned. Provides reception coverage as needed for backup Take part in the rota for dealing with outgoing post and DX Drafts correspondence and standard forms Handling confidential and sensitive information in accordance with GDPR Preparing invoices for clients

Full training will be provided by our team in (but not limited to):



Interviews with clients The process of conveyancing File opening and closure Dealing with contracts Reviewing searches and property documents Writing articles for social media Telephone and post assistance Reception assistance Billing processes

Desired skills



Due to the Apprenticeship criteria candidates with LLB would not be eligible for this position

Local viable commute essential

4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's

Confident with excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties Good attention to detail Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm's in-house systems where training will be given Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner Good organisational skills Good client care skills

Training to be provided



Level 3 in Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard
Course Content:

Utilising IT programs and software Decision making Managing a quality service Project management Understanding the organisation and stakeholders Relevant regulations and policies Business fundamentals Professionalism and performance management Functional skills if needed
