Are you a confident and adaptable Par Loan Closer? Can you envision yourself overseeing a diverse portfolio of secondary loan transactions from the initial trade date all the way to settlement? Your role will involve collaborating within a small team, advancing both par and distressed trades, but with a primary focus on par trades. In this position, you will become a vital part of servicing the company\'s client base by serving as the central point of communication for all loans traded on the secondary market within the EMEA region.

Responsibilities of a Par Loan Closer -

• Preparing LMA Par/Distressed trade documents, including Trade Confirmations, Transfer Certificates, Sub-participation agreements, and Multi-lateral netting agreements.
• Managing trade documentation deal sites and ensuring effective control of public/private Chinese wall.
• Reviewing Credit Agreements to evaluate transferability requirements and restrictions.
• Monitoring the trader\'s positions to maintain reconciliation between the trade and settled positions.
• Alerting senior members of the closing team and trade desk to potential issues with documentation and trade settlements.
• Coordinating with the trading desk, sales, deal analysts, trade counterparties, agent banks, and legal counsel to ensure proper document preparation for a seamless settlement.

Essential Criteria for a Par Loan Closer -

• Demonstrated experience in the Secondary Loans Closing space, covering both Par and Distressed transactions, involving LMA and LSTA documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment, managing a diverse workload with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities, including a capacity for innovative problem-solving.

(Desirable)

• Self-sufficiency in handling a substantial portfolio of trades, taking a cradle-to-grave approach.
• Proficiency in resolving system discrepancies, PNL adjustments, and making decisions related to PNL accruals and cash postings.
