Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through the application of paint and decorative finishes. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. As a Painter & Decorator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Select appropriate materials and tools for each project based on client specifications. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences regarding colour schemes and finishes. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and setup for each project.

Experience

Proven experience in painting and decorating is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between job sites. Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour matching and design aesthetics. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: 12.21-18.00 per hour
