About you




Thanks to a series of new business wins we are looking for talented people to join our team. Specifically, we would like to meet with Account Directors with PA experience in health. The role we are looking for will work primarily across life sciences and third sector healthcare clients.


Our Account Directors lead the account teams, are a pivotal part of the business and the future of the agency. They are responsible for helping shape, and then implement the plans agreed with the client. They are client-focussed and performance-driven; always thinking about ways to amplify and improve the work delivered, and ways to increase profitability and growth. As leaders, they are striving to maintain an engaged and motivated team, who deliver great work whilst developing their experience and skills at the agency.


Sector intelligence and understanding




Your ability to counsel clients is a key part of the role and, as such, we would like our Account Directors to keep up the following knowledge and skills:

Knowledge of key milestones, news and developments in the health and wellbeing sector. Having, and sharing, a thorough understanding of health policy. Ability to communicate the implications of milestones/news/policy developments and provide clients with counsel and advice on them. Sharing of relevant information to the team; including training/development opportunities and related skills-based and sector-based intelligence.

Responsibilities




Your responsibilities will include:

Lead the development of proposals for clients; take a leading role in shaping how the ideas and strategy are created, clearly delegate tasks, and take ownership for delivering high quality content. Build and oversee account plans, and ensure they are delivered on time, and on budget with the support of the respective account teams. Take ownership for, and lead, relationships with senior clients and be their 'go-to' for strategic counsel. Agree, manage, and monitor key deliverables for clients. Proactively recognise, and make recommendations on any risks facing the client, or the team internally. Manage, and support more junior members of the team; proactively seek out opportunities to develop those you line manage and champion them to the wider business. Pursue, and take an active role in organic growth with your client base - seek out opportunities to grow the stakeholders within the organisation, consider integrated offers and take opportunities to the Leadership Team. Pursue, and take an active role in new business growth within your own network and as a key part of any new business team you join. Develop strategies and key materials for new business, and organic growth opportunities and actively participate in the pitching process. Be active, and vocal, in collaborating and contributing to all stages of the new business process - input into and lead research, drive new creative, be ambitious about the ideas we can present as an agency.

We re looking for someone who will:


Play an active role in the agency as a whole; contribute to our marketing efforts, our culture and our success and happiness as an agency. Identify, and activate, ways in which you can contribute to our purpose of making a significant and positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the UK. This could be - for example - through working as a champion, or supporting our champions' work in sustainability, wellbeing, or D&I. Consider, and activate, ways to contribute to the wider industry. This could be - for example - through the work of the PRCA, contributing to events, blogging or through joining industry groups.
