FGR is currently recruiting skilled multi-drop delivery drivers for a leading parcel delivery brand in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity offering an extremely competitive daily rate.

We are searching for candidates who possess a valid, clean driving licence, with no criminal record, and prior experience in multi-drop deliveries. A friendly and positive attitude is essential.

Please note this position requires your own vehicle which must be in good condition, bodywork and mechanically and no older than 5 years since first date of registration. You will require a DBS check and right to work in the UK, a Full UK driving licence and all relevant insurance cover for your vehicle.

Pay : 175 per day (dependant on vehicle capacity)

Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

This is a self-employed position with weekly payments every Friday, with a two-week payment delay.

We also provide the chance for additional driving opportunities to candidates interested in earning extra income.

Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Management:

Effectively manage and prioritise a demanding workload of up to 80 drops per day. Plan and optimise routes using the provided delivery software to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. Handle packages with care, ensuring they are securely loaded and unloaded from the delivery vehicle. Follow company protocols for safe handling and transportation of goods.
2. Communication and Reporting:

Maintain clear and effective communication with the dispatch team, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered. Utilise the provided technology tools to report and document any delivery exceptions or discrepancies. Collaborate with colleagues and team members to share best practices and improve overall delivery operations.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a clean and valid driver's licence with an excellent driving record. Experience: Previous experience as a multi drop driver or in a similar delivery role is highly preferred. Time Management: Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle a high volume of deliveries efficiently. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights, ensuring safe handling practices. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and communicate effectively with the dispatch team. Navigation Skills: Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools to plan routes and navigate efficiently. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free deliveries. Professionalism: A customer-centric mindset with a professional and friendly demeanour. Reliability: Dependability and punctuality are essential for meeting delivery deadlines.
