Compass Associates are proud to be recruiting for a Brand-New Private Hospital, located in Milton Keyes, who are currently in search for an experienced Staff Nurse to join their Outpatient Department. This luxury hospital will be offering a range of day surgery specialities including ENT, Laparoscopic, Breast and Orthopaedics. They are experts in delivering minimally invasive day-surgery and have a team made up of some of the UKs leading consultants, offering a wealth of experience and expertise. They have exceptional standards for both staff and patient care.

The Candidate
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nurse seeking a new challenge working in an Outpatient setting. You will be a part of a close-knit team and will be fully supported by Senior Management Team in order to learn, grow and develop your skills.

You will have a number of responsibilities including pre-assessing patients for surgery, post-surgical checks, wound care, dressing changes, taking bloods, conducting welfare calls to patients and ensuring outpatient rooms are set up and ready for use. Previous experience working within an Outpatient or Pre-Assessment setting is required.

This is a full-time position consisting of 40 hours per week, which will be worked days only between Monday to Sunday. There is a good level of flexibility dependent on the needs of the business, and if there are any weekend requirements needed, this will be paid at a generous enhanced rate. \xe2\x80\x93 NMC Registration
\xe2\x80\x93 Previous experience within an outpatients or pre-assessment setting
\xe2\x80\x93 Excellent clinical skills including venepuncture, wound care and dressings
\xe2\x80\x93 Passion for high quality patient care
\xe2\x80\x93 Excellent communication skills

Salary & Package

Location
The role is based in Milton Keynes, which is easily commutable from Cranfield, Bedford, Bletchley, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Buckingham and Northampton. There is plenty of free parking near the hospital too!
