If you\'ve visited one of our restaurants before, you\'ve probably got some idea of what\'s involved in maintaining a restaurant. But you might not realise the variety and scope of the role. Specific responsibilities will include maintaining outside landscaping, painting and varnishing, maintaining parking facilities and completion of non-electrical small equipment repairs and maintenance as well as organisation, acceptance and rotation of our great food products.

To join us you\'ll need to be confident in dealing with external contractors as well as the restaurant team. You\'ll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and service as well as cleanliness. The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working both efficiently and productively is essential.

Quite simply, you\'ll be working in our fast moving, high energy environment and you\'ll be required to assist the restaurant management team in operating the store efficiently by maintaining the equipment and building in prime condition. You\'ll need to work with external contractors to make sure repairs are carried out with minimal disruption to customers. As a key part of the restaurant team you will work as a supportive colleague and demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm for the standards in all areas of the restaurant inside and out.

Key responsibilities are:

• Maintaining cleanliness and planned maintenance of equipment in the restaurant
• Use initiative accepting and storing deliveries safely and securely
• Follow all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures
• Consistently deliver and maintain the highest McDonald\'s standards of quality, service and cleanliness
• Follow uniform guidelines and take pride in your personal appearance
• Take responsibility for your training in all areas; look for opportunities to improve and develop
• Keep the McDonald\'s Values alive in the restaurant and at the heart of everything you do
• Proactively anticipate restaurant needs so they don\'t have to ask, reporting stock or equipment issues to managers
• Actively look for ways to make the restaurant better supporting food safety, health and safety and planned maintenance requirements
• Implements all workplace safety and security procedures, records and acts upon any hazards identified on shift
• Treat all customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
