Out Of School Practitioner
Job Description
ABC is expanding and we need a further out of school practitioner.
The successful applicant will be required to -
Ensure the safe arrival by escorting from school to the out of school club
Provide a safe, caring, stimulating and exciting environment
Assist with snack and meal times
Help with the planned activities and outings
Be able to risk assess and complete were necessary
Be responsible for your own learning and development
Be aware and understand relevant documents such as - National Care Standards, My world Outdoors, How Good is Early Learning and Childcare
Keep care plans up to date and all other relevant paperwork up to date
Be an effective communicator at all times
Attend staff training and meetings
Follow policies and procedures
The successful candidate must: hold a minimum of an SVQ3 in playwork/childcare or equivalent.
Hold a clean valid drivers licence
Be able to be flexible with hours - term time hours Monday - Thursday 2.30pm - 6.15pm, Friday 11.30am - 6.15pm. School holidays the club is open 7.15am - 6.15pm.
Be PVG and SSSC registered
