Job Description
Based within our afterschool club at Rimrose Hope Primary School, Seaforth, the Senior Playworker will:
Be responsible for the management of an afterschool school club for children aged 3-11 years
Ensure high quality provision that meets all legal, Ofsted, health and safety, Early Years Foundation Stage framework standards
Be responsible for the support, supervision and development of staff and volunteers
Ensure that the local community, school and children and families who use Fun 4 Kidz services are placed at the heart of everything that the charity does
Hours
Afterschool Club
21 hours per week - term time only
Core hours - Term time only - Monday to Friday
Afterschool club - 2.30pm-6.00pm
Level 3 playwork or relevant childcare qualification essential
At least 3 years' experience in a play environment or in caring for children (voluntary or paid), essential.
Experience in a managerial role desirable.
Satisfactory Enhanced DBS and references are required if successful at interview.
