Job Description
Optical Assistants play a key role in giving our customers a warm welcome, from the minute they arrive in a store to when they come out of an examination room. It might sound cliche, but truly, no two days are the same. Optical Assistants are always on hand to help customers choose frames and lenses, and give advice on the best style and fit. It's a great career path to take, but you'll need to have the right qualities and be prepared to throw yourself into the role.
You will be required to work between our West Kirby practice and our new practice in Liverpool City Centre.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Schedule appointments and manage the reception area efficiently. Provide information about eyewear products and services. Maintain accurate patient records and handle billing inquiries.

Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage patient records and appointments efficiently Familiarity with optical equipment and terminology Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Summary
As an Optical Assistant/Receptionist, you will be integral to providing exceptional patient care and support within our optical practice. Reporting to the office manager, your role involves assisting patients with their eyewear needs, managing appointments, and ensuring a welcoming environment. By leveraging your relevant skills, you will contribute to a seamless patient experience and support the overall efficiency of our operations in delivering high-quality eye care services.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
