Job Overview:



The Operations Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of vehicles across various locations. This role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will support daily operations, assist in managing logistics, track deliveries, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Logistics Coordination:

Plan and coordinate vehicle deliveries, ensuring timely, efficient, and accurate transportation of vehicles to customers.

Schedule Management:

Oversee and optimise delivery schedules, routes, and staffing to ensure operational efficiency.

Vendor Relations:

Manage relationships with third-party contractors, drivers, and service providers to ensure quality standards and timelines are met.

Inventory Management:

Track and manage fleet inventory, ensuring that all vehicles are ready for delivery and properly maintained.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and vehicle conditions. Prepare reports for management regarding operational performance, issues, and KPIs.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards. Work with the compliance team to maintain fleet certifications and safety checks.

Problem Solving:

Address any issues or delays in the delivery process, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Customer Service:

Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to vehicle delivery status, delays, or any issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Process Improvement:

Identify and suggest improvements in delivery processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments (Sales, Customer Support, Fleet Management) to ensure seamless operations and communication.

Recruitment:

Own the entire driver recruitment and training process including interviews and induction training

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business in any field (preferred but not essential).

Experience:

2-3 years in an operations role, ideally within a logistics or transportation company (preferred but not essential). Experience in vehicle delivery, fleet management, or supply chain management is a plus.

Skills:



Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with transportation management software (preferred). Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:



Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Flexibility and adaptability to changing operational needs. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (own car not necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
