Job Description
Astute are currently working with a rapidly growing client within the Nuclear sector, who are looking for an Operations Manager to play a key part in the ongoing growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the operational teams responsible for your specific deliverables
- Responsible for contractual budgets, processes, and resources to maximise your team\'s efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the client
- Introduce innovation and new technology and be comfortable dealing with commercial and compliance issues
- Managing stakeholders
- Build and maintain successful relationships with client representatives
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Broad operational or engineering experience in the water industry, pump solutions or water treatment environments.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills, to lead, engage and motivate your team to perform at their best in a challenging environment.
- Ideally, a minimum of an HNC in an engineering or scientific discipline.
- Up to date Health and Safety training. IOSHH, SMSTS, CSCS and Confined Spaces training would all be beneficial.
