Operations Manager

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join the highly energetic and dynamic operations team at Borough Market, London\'s historic food market.

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this key role is critical to the smooth running of the Market, where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a passionate and talented team who represent our values and provide exceptional customer at all times.

We are looking for someone who can help cultivate a progressive and supportive employee culture and drive and improve the Market\'s sustainable practices.

This is a diverse role that requires high levels of organisational skills along with the ability to prioritise. There will often be a need to work independently using your own initiative to resolve day-to-day issues and ensure we provide a safe and welcoming environment for customers. The successful candidate will liaise with our large and diverse network of traders, help to resolve issues and be able to judge when anything significant should be escalated to the Head of Operations.

Applicants should have a strong operational background with extensive experience in a similar role. Good leadership skills, strategic thinking and outstanding communications skills are a must.
