Team overview
The Programme Operations team is part of Ofcom\xe2\x80\x99s Broadcasting and Media Group. Its primary purpose is to secure a wide range of television and radio services which are of high quality and appeal to a variety of tastes and interests throughout the UK, as well as to support the wider group to enable the effective delivery of its work.
Purpose of the Role
As an Operations Executive, you will be responsible for providing effective general administrative support to the Broadcasting and Media Group. Typical duties will include ensuring the high-quality and timely end-to-end delivery of key outputs such as building new applications on our systems, supporting the Broadcast Licensing team with licensing administration, supporting the Standards and Audience Protection team, logging complaints, arranging stakeholder meetings including note taking, requesting recordings from broadcasters, processing translations and sending correspondence.
Requirements of the Role
Providing efficient and effective admin support across a range of Broadcasting and Media Group\xe2\x80\x99s licensing and enforcement work
Demonstrating agility by handling various tasks at once
Accurately and speedily entering data into our databases and workbooks
Identifying and pre-empting issues, handling and escalating risk.
Collaborating closely and effectively with other team members, Associates, Senior Associate Managers, Principals, and Directors.
Keeping stakeholders informed and updated on progress
Skills, knowledge and experience
Able to take responsibility for effective and timely delivery of high quality and complex administrative work.
