Adecco are recruiting an Operations Customs Administrator to work for a Major FMCG company in Maidenhead.
Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm - Hybrid Working
Pay Rate \xc2\xa325,000 per year + 10% Bonus
Job Purpose
A great opportunity has arisen for an Operations Customs Administrator to work with some of the world\'s best loved brands of chocolate and confectionery. This role is positioned within a stand-alone entrepreneurial division of a global FMCG business with a focus on extending their brands into new categories to deliver high levels of growth and innovation in their markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating import and export electronic paperwork and documentation for cross-border movement of goods between the UK and the EU ensuring that all essential information is completed both accurately and on time, and passed to our Customs Agents in order for them to process and enter onto the HMRC customs systems.
The job holder will be responsible for seeing the paper trail for each load through from start to finish, ensuring that information is consistent and that quantities and values of goods declared reconciles with the final delivered quantities and invoiced amounts.
Paperwork for each load needs to be filed centrally and the job holder will be responsible for maintaining the electronic folders in an organised and well labelled manner for quick location of any sets of files which may be needed for reference or auditing purposes.
The successful candidate will also support the wider Operations with the processing of invoices and provide support across the team for holiday cover of essential regular tasks.
This is an entry level role with fantastic opportunities for the job holder to develop and progress their career within the Supply Chain and Operations function.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Operations Planners and Customs Agents to process essential import and export documents in order for goods to be cleared to pass from the UK to the EU
- Track the paper trail of each load from start to finish to ensure accuracy and consistency and flag any loads to the Operations Planner which do not reconcile.
- Maintain and keep completely up to date the electronic filing system for all paperwork related to each load, ensuring accuracy of labelling and methodical organization.

\xef\xbf\xbd Experience with Teams an advantage but not essential
