A leading manufacturer within the Loading Bay, Doors, Scissor Lifts and Turn Key Solutions industry, Nova Industrial Services Ltd are seeking to recruit an experienced Operations Coordinator. Nova Industrial Services are a privately-owned business where individuals' contributions have a direct impact on the overall success of the Company. Due to our continued success and expansion, we are now looking to expand our Operations team by recruiting an experienced Operations Coordinator. Once established in the role there would be great opportunity for further career progression within our rapidly expanding business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations while maintaining high standards of quality and service. This role requires leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement within the organisation.
Duties
Effective scheduling of engineers to cover all internal job types (call out, repair, installation, maintenance) using the processes and job management system
Communicate effectively with customers to book in planned works and respond to any customer queries
Escalate any scheduling issues or concerns
Administrative tasks as required in the role, such as ensuring all records are accurate in the job management system, status updates as the job progresses, ordering parts where necessary, health and safety documentation including risk and method statements, hiring of plant/equipment where necessary
Day to day liaison with the engineers, obtaining live job updates to enable for smooth planning, ensuring parts are in correct bay locations
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Operations Co-ordinator or in a similar role within a relevant industry. Technical knowledge / engineering experience desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in using operational management software and tools, considering geographical locations to be able to schedule engineers efficiently.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; our engineers will be relying on you to share key information on a day-to-day basis as will our customers.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Driving licence essential due to office location.
An engineering qualification would be an advantage

08:00am - 17:00pm Monday to Thursday, 08:00am - 16:30pm Friday
Engineers are on an out of hours rota so you need to be available to answer calls outside of office hours
