Responsibilities
Reporting to the Duty Officer, the Operations Controller is responsible for managing the day to day operations control centre.
Ensuring the highest delivery of services to customer airlines is consistent, professional, safe, and secure.
Acting as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders on communication flows.
Ensure flights are met and dispatched in a timely, safe manner.
Ensure all procedures as per the airlines GOM are followed.
Accurate time stamp and recording of activities during the critical path of the turnaround.
Pro-activate management flight allocation, stand planning allocating of resources.
Working alongside all departments to ensure timely information is recorded/reported.
Complete delay reports and any incident accident reports.
Ensure aircraft billing system is completed for the shift.
Update daily mayfly's.
Person Specification
Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment.
Fluent in English - written and spoken.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Aptitude for working with various information technology systems.
Excellent communicator at all levels.
Well organised and a lateral thinker.
Full driving licence required.
Experience/knowledge of all aspects of airside operations.
