Second Act Ltd is a collection of South-Asian inspired lifestyle brands, aimed at bringing the diversity & richness of South Asian apparel & decor to the UK. As we expand our business, we are looking for an ambitious & driven individual with specialist knowledge in South Asian apparel & jewelry to help us tailor our offerings. The right candidate will run point on our UK operations and help us penetrate the UK apparel market & expand our product portfolio. This involves end to end order fulfillment and building a brand amongst local communities.

Operations Assistant
Role Overview:
The Operations Assistant will be responsible for executing operational & logistical processes for our jewellery & apparel brand. This includes inventory management, logistics coordination, quality control and customer service. The main focus of the role is to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of the e-commerce business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Run Daily Operations -
We need someone who can operate daily operations which can include:
Pursuing sales - Publishing product listings on e-commerce websites and devising discount strategies.
Marketing - Writing blog posts, and articles to support marketing/SEO efforts.
Manage customer orders - Monitoring our website, fulfilling & shipping orders.
Customer Service - Resolving customer queries and issues.
Vendor Relationship Management -
We need someone who creates & maintains long-term relationships with our suppliers, logistic partners and other vendors.
Product Research
- We need someone who is able to research and identify South-Asian inspired products that our customers would love!
Community Engagement
- We need someone who will engage with local South-Asian communities, to get a better understanding of our target market and promote our brands.
Social Media Management -
We need someone who can handle our social media accounts & grow them with regular content creation.
Requirements
Qualified to a Bachelor's degree, as a minimum
Previous experience in operations in a retail e-commerce environment
Previous experience in sourcing and procurement of South-Asian products
Proven track record in fashion/apparel industry
Strong understanding of South-Asian culture & lifestyle
Skills
Self-starter - Passionate about designing new products and seeking new market opportunities
Ability to spot improvement opportunities to streamline operations
Excellent organisational skills
Keen attention to detail for product quality control
Passion for customer service and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
Time Management - Able to manage workload to meet customer deadlines

Strong communication skills to engage with customers and community
Ability to speak at least one South-Asian language would be a strength e.g. Hindi to be able to communicate effectively with the local South-Asian communities, and our suppliers.
