About the Role:



We are seeking a proactive and organised

Operations Assistant

to support the planning and delivery of our summer school residential programmes in the UK.

OSI offers English Language programmes to international students who seek to improve themselves linguistically, academically and personally. OSI is trusted by multiple prestigious schools, colleges and universities across the UK and USA.

The role would be ideal for a recent graduate, a student or someone wishing to pursue a career in education, or operations, or those with education or operations experience. It is a fixed-term role

starting as soon as possible

and

ending on 1st August 2025

, with the possibility of continued employment beyond this period for the right candidate. Hours:

40 hour

part time

would also be considered

Location

: Head office is in Kidlington, Oxford, but you will also be able to work from home
The successful applicant will work closely with the Head and Assistant Head of Operations to manage logistics, coordinate communications, and assist with the day-to-day running of the residential programmes.

This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, making decisions and enjoys working with young people in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in planning and coordinating all operational aspects of the summer residential programmes Work alongside the Head of Operations to ensure smooth daily running of sites Support logistics including accommodation, catering, transport, and excursions Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and external providers Maintain up-to-date records and schedules using Microsoft Office Create and update visual resources (Canva experience is a plus) Respond promptly to queries and issues during programme delivery Assist in training and supporting seasonal staff Contribute to a positive, safe, and engaging environment for all participants

Desirable Attributes:



Experience in residential settings or summer schools Safeguarding awareness and/or training First aid qualification (advantage, not essential)

All staff must undergo strict safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS Disclosure.



Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 20,800.00-25,400.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
