Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant to work at the Sheffield site where the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the fuel is delivered correctly and the fuel feed is maintained.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Operations Engineer you will be responsible for:
- To oversea the reception, banking, loading/unloading of the plants wood fuel, ash removal and chemical deliveries.
- To clean all production plant areas ensuring wood dust is kept to a minimum and assisting the Shift Controllers with boiler blowdowns.
- Responsible for the reception of wood delivery vehicles at the weighbridge
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork and documentation is received and issued accordingly.
- Complete level 1 operators training to enable safe shutdown of site if required.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- GCSE Math and English or equivalent
- Forklift Truck/ or mobile plant driving
- Tele-handler license/experience
