The Operational Team Supervisor will lead one of Haygrove's mobile operational teams, overseeing tasks such as hoop bending, gutter rolling, tunnel construction, and customer training. This role involves representing the company professionally to clients in the UK and internationally. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in delivering our tunnel systems and managing a small team of operational technicians in dynamic and high-pressure environments.

Key accountabilities of the role:



1. Team Leadership & Supervision



- Lead and motivate a small team of technicians, ensuring high levels of productivity, morale, and team cohesion.

Tunnel System Installation & Technical Operations



- Supervise and participate in the hands-on installation of Haygrove tunnel systems, including hoop bending, gutter rolling, and other construction processes.

- Ensure all installations are completed on time, to specification, and with high attention to detail and quality standards.

- Operate and oversee the use of specialised machinery and tools, ensuring they are used safely and effectively by the team.

Customer Interaction & Training Delivery



- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during on-site installation and training sessions.

- Deliver comprehensive training to customers on the use, maintenance, and management of Haygrove tunnel systems

- Maintain a professional and positive image of Haygrove, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process

- Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer interactions to support ongoing product development and service improvement.

4. Health, Safety & Compliance



- Ensure that all team activities comply with company and industry Health & Safety standards, both in the UK and abroad.

- Conduct regular safety checks, promote safe working practices, and ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and compliant manner.

- Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety inspections, escalating any concerns appropriately.

Equipment & Resource Management



- Oversee the maintenance and condition of tools, machinery, and company vehicles used during operational work

- Report equipment faults promptly and liaise with technical teams for repairs or replacements as required.

- Ensure all resources are used responsibly and with care, minimising waste and maintaining high standards of upkeep.

- Monitor stock levels of installation materials and request replenishment when necessary.

Experience & Qualifications:



Experience supervising a small team Background in construction or agriculture Experience working internationally or with diverse teams (desirable) Mechanical background (preferred) Telehandler and forklift licences (preferred) Strong literacy and numeracy skills Able to travel frequently, including international trips

Pay: 26,000.00-27,000.00 per year
