Salary: \xc2\xa334,100 - \xc2\xa341,572 per annumSanctuary Personnel are seeking a Scrub Operating Department Practitioner to join our client\'s Theatre department in a private healthcare setting dedicated to women and children\'s healthcare. This role offers an opportunity for training in paediatric scrub procedures. Situated within a leading private healthcare company, their facility, currently rated "Good" by the CQC, has been providing exemplary care for over 50 years.The hospital, the sole private hospital in the UK solely focused on women and children\'s healthcare, boasts the country\'s largest private children\'s hospital with over 46 paediatric beds. Their comprehensive services include a 10-bed intensive care unit, a neonatal intensive care unit, and a day case unit. With a yearly care provision for more than 40,000 children, their treatments range from general paediatric conditions to intricate craniofacial reconstruction. Their team of over 175 paediatric consultants caters to patients from newborns to 18-year-olds.As the UK\'s only fully private maternity hospital, they deliver over 1,600 babies annually, prioritising safe and high-quality care for expectant mothers. Their maternity services, led by both consultants and midwives, aim to support mothers through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.Their theatre complex, comprising five theatres, offers a dynamic and professional environment equipped with advanced technology and facilities.The theatre team, consisting of experienced Consultants and Practitioners across various specialties, conducts a multitude of complex procedures daily, spanning acute specialities such as Gynaecology & Obstetrics, general surgery, and paediatric surgery.Shift Pattern:

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Sunday, Early (07:30 am - 16:00 pm), Late (12:30 pm - 21:00 pm) and long days (07:30 am - 21:00 pm)
Candidates for this role should possess:
  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
  • 12 months of surgical (scrub) experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
