We are a fast growing group made up of two brands - TPP Retail & LabelZone, with around 60 employees, based in Leeds but with additional offices in London, Weston-super-Mare & Poole.
We supply companies with mobile technology (like Android mobile devices and tablets, barcode scanners, mobile printers, labels & apps) to allow them to be more efficient in their shop floor, warehousing, field service and other areas. We work closely with lots of well known global businesses, including many that you'll interact with on a regular basis.
About the Role
Our website (www.labelzone.co.uk) is a significant untapped opportunity. We are looking for someone who has experience managing and growing an e-commerce platform in the B2B space.
You will take ownership of our e-commerce strategy, reporting directly to our Managing Director, and be empowered to steer it forward. We know there is significant opportunity for growth in our e-commerce platform today, and we haven't focused on this area so far.
This role is based in our Leeds office with limited opportunity to work from home up to 2 days a week.
Responsibilities
Product catalogue management, keeping up with new products relevant to our sector and making sure our data quality is high
Market analysis in combination with our suppliers and by researching competitor websites, helping us make sure we are selling the right products
Manage our pricing strategy ensuring we can attract customers while delivering sustainable margin
Analyse and manage homepage & category layouts, making sure we prioritise the right products
Promotion management, either with our own promotions or making sure we maximise the value of promotions from our vendors
Design and deliver an advertising strategy, testing & learning, finding the right balance between ad spend and sales revenue
Be accountable for trading metrics including online revenue, ROAS, AOV, LTV
Support our group strategy of moving customers with high potential or high support need into our wider sales team for an in-person or telesales experience
Drive user experience or functionality enhancements to the site, referencing the best B2B online experiences and trying to help us get there
You will be directly accountable for online trading performance and, if you want to, have the opportunity to build a team around you (made up of both internal and external resource as appropriate) to support anticipated online trading growth.
We are looking for a high performance individual who can come into our business, grab this under-invested area and really take it forward.
Qualifications
Proven experience growing an online trading platform in the B2B space
Experience using data & research to build a strategy and then deliver on it
Understanding of e-commerce performance metrics (ROAS, LTV, AOV, etc) and how to use them to contribute to a succesful strategy
Hands on experience with Shopify (preferably) or a similar platform
Hands on experience with Google Ads
Financially savvy, analytical, great with Excel
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment
