Cash Converters has a unique opportunity for a dynamic Retail Buy / Sales Assistant to join the team in Aberdeen. The role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hrs per week between Monday and Saturday

About this Job

An online Seller is responsible for conducting online sales and managing the marketplace. They play a crucial role in driving sales revenue, maintaining customer satisfaction, and growing the business.

Responsibilities:



Create and optimize product listings to attract potential buyers and maximize visibility online Develop effective marketing strategies to promote products and increase sales. Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely order fulfillment. Monitor sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for expanding product offerings and improving sales performance. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving customer issues. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity when interacting with customers and fellow sellers. Stay updated on policies, best practices, and industry trends to ensure compliance and success.
The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of modern gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets, PC's and games consoles. This technology makes up a large part of the products we sell. Experience of Internet trading would be an advantage.

Proven experience as an online Seller or in a similar e-commerce role would be beneficial but not necessary Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and generating revenue. Proficiency in product research, listing optimization, and online marketing techniques. Strong knowledge of online marketplace dynamics, policies, and best practices. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage inventory and handle customer inquiries.
Key responsibilities

- To achieve and maximise sales targets whilst maintaining and enhancing the company's image

- To provide excellent customer service by continuously developing product knowledge

- Demonstrate merchandise whilst recognising selling opportunities and link sales

- Replenishing stock and maintaining high standards of merchandising and housekeeping throughout the store

- To assist and take initiative in planning the promotional events in store

- To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate training/development activities.
