We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as an online tutor in the following areas:

11+/13+ Entrance Exam Practice:

Maths

GCSE/A-LEVEL Maths

As an online tutor, you will teach students following UK schools' 11+/13+ entrance exam preparation and GCSE/A-Level in Maths. We have opportunities for 1-to-1 Tutorial sessions, and small groups (up to six students). Classes are normally 1 hour, plus preparation time and assignment marking. This is a remote working, part-time position, allowing you to work flexibly from home.

Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging and interactive online tutoring sessions focused upon 11+/13+ Entrance Exam, GCSE & A-level preparation in Maths. Create personalised lesson plans and learning materials tailored to students' academic needs and goals. Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve and accelerate their learning. Prepare your own lesson material for each session. Grade student assignment works, providing timely and constructive feedback. Utilise digital teaching and learning technologies such as Zoom, Google Drive, and various social networking platforms to deliver effective online lessons.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Maths (Maths Exam preparation), or a related field (or currently studying as an under/postgraduate major in Maths). Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage. Familiarity and comfort with digital teaching and learning technology, including Zoom, Google Drive, and SNS platforms. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students in an online learning environment. Flexibility with working hours to accommodate students' schedules, with students calling in from various time-zones. Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment. Applicants must Reside within the UK, or Ireland.

From 20.00 per hour and up (depending upon experience)
