On Call Consultant - Social Care Staffing Agency
\xc2\xa3220.00 per weekend - Work from Home (One Weekend Per Month)
Only applicants who live locally to Leeds City Centre and can drive will be considered for this position.

This role is ideal for someone who needs the flexibility to work weekends with the added benefit of working from home.

Here at AJ Recruitment we provide staffing solutions to care organisations across Yorkshire. This is a 24-hour, 7 day a week service. We are looking for an On-Call Consultant to provide a continued remarkable service over the weekends.

The main purpose of this role is to manage the On-Call phone from home and answer any calls from agency Support Workers or Customers needing staffing support Friday night, Saturday, Sunday and return to handover on Monday morning from home via microsoft teams.

Handover from the recruitment team will take place at 4:30pm Friday and 8:30am Monday from home via microsoft teams.

The weekends will alternate, and we envisage this to be two out of four weekends: Calls typically come in between 6:00am and 11pm. They payment for this role will be \xc2\xa3220.00 for the weekend. The weekend consists of the following hours:

  • Friday 4:30 \xe2\x80\x93 5:30 \xe2\x80\x93 Travel to collect phone and complete a handover
  • On call from home Friday Evening
  • Saturday \xe2\x80\x93 available to answer calls and take appropriate action.
  • Sunday \xe2\x80\x93 available to answer calls and take appropriate action.
  • Monday AM on call from home
  • 8:30-9:30 - Travel to drop off phone and complete a handover
Responsibilities:
  • Answering and responding to telephone enquires in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating Support Workers to work the shifts called in by customers.
  • Supporting with any outstanding compliance actions from the candidate recruitment team.
  • Communicating with Support Workers to ensure their availability to work the following week is logged in the system.
  • Communicating with Support Workers to ensure they have submitted their timesheets for the hours they worked in the previous week.
  • Answering any generic telephone enquiries and taking messages.
Full training for this role will be provided to ensure the On-Call Consultant is confident and able to answer queries and coordinate staffing support successfully.

Skills Required:
  • Confident at using IT and systems.
  • Excellent telephone skills and
  • Very personable and engaging
  • Highly organised and proactive
  • Warm, friendly and confident
  • Computer literate \xe2\x80\x93 e.g. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Database use
  • Able to work Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning.
  • An understanding and/or willingness to develop an understanding of Social Care
  • High level of personal and professional commitment and self-awareness
  • You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle due to the travel required when handing over the on call phones
