Nurture Care Group Ltd
is a small group of Children's Therapeutic Residential Homes based in the West Midlands. Nurture Care Group specialises in providing long-term therapeutic homes to children aged 6 -18 who have experienced considerable trauma throughout their lives.

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager for one of our three-bed EBD therapeutic homes based in the beautiful area of Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.
The appointed manager will have the opportunity to help shape their own home, enthusiastically drive the ethos of their home and create a nurturing and warm environment that promotes family values to the young people we will care for.
We are a therapeutic home and have our own in-house clinical team who support the teams with the children's needs and developing teams' therapeutic knowledge through TACs, clinical assessments and direct training.
We have a supportive team around the homes, including in-house administrative support, experienced senior management and our own bank support staff team.

What we are looking for:
A confident and experienced Registered Manager with a minimum of two years' experience in a leadership role within children's residential care specifically.
Ideally a history of achieving good or outstanding in previous Ofsted inspections.
A good understanding of Therapeutic Practice and PACE.
A good understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or working towards.
A good leader who inspires and motivates their team, leading from the front.
Good communication and written skills.
An organised individual who can manage their own workload and prioritise the needs of the home.
Take a pro-active approach, consistently trying to improve the outcomes for our children and teams by acting quickly.
Be able to adapt where needed. As change occurs, pivot or acclimate to find the best way forward.
Be a supportive and approachable leader, ensuring that everyone on your team has the skills and resources to deliver the highest quality of care to our children. Advocate for your team and their needs.
Have the skills to analyse data and patterns, working in partnership with other professionals to deliver the best outcomes for our children and teams.
Feel confident to advocate for the children's needs, wishes and feelings.
Have a flexible working approach, be supportive and on hand for your team in times of need.
Work as part of our on-call system for the homes in the region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- Lead and supervise your team, providing guidance and support in delivering exceptional care and progress for our children.
- Develop and implement individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Maintain effective communication with all involved in the children's lives.
- Keep and maintain accurate records in line with regulations.
- Ensure the children and teams are well safeguarded.
