Offshore Mechanical Technician

Are you a Technician with Subsea experience, looking for a technically interesting role, where you will be working offshore?

This presents an excellent chance to engage with diverse subsea equipment on a global scale, allowing you to further enhance your skill set and advance in the industry, ultimately achieving expertise in the field.

Within the Mechanical Solutions division, the role of the Technician primarily entails operating subsea cutting, dredging, and cleaning equipment. You will travel to Offshore sites to handle the operation, servicing, maintenance, functional testing, and, when necessary, repairs of mechanical solutions equipment during client projects.
You will be expected to support maintenance, operational tasks, and training activities, as well as carry out any other assignments directed by their immediate Supervisor or higher authorities.

This global and growing company provide Offshore equipment to the Energy sector, designing and manufacturing cutting edge technology. Due to their continued success, they are rapidly expanding and are now in need of additional Engineers to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be from a Mechanical background, with experience working offshore on Subsea equipment.

The Role:

• Working 100% Offshore
• Identify potential hazards within the worksite, taking into consideration the surroundings and prevailing meteorological conditions that may jeopardize personnel safety, health, or environmental preservation.
• Ensure that all required maintenance tasks are conducted at scheduled intervals or when necessary, and that accurate documentation is maintained.
• Collaborate closely with the QHSE team to assist in investigations and reporting related to failures, NCRs, and opportunities for improvement (OFIs).

The Person:

• Experience working with subsea equipment
• Mechanical background
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Willing to work away from home
