As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Full-Time Office and Accounts Administrator to join our close-knit team.
Role Overview:
This is a varied and hands-on role combining office administration with accounting duties. We're looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for key areas of office operations, including customer communication, export documentation, logistics coordination, and financial record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration
Prepare and manage export documentation and liaise with couriers and freight companies.
Handle logistics coordination for international shipments.
Answer telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Provide support across general office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day running.
Accounts Administration
Process and reconcile sales invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor and manage stock-related transactions in relation to accounts.
What We're Looking For:
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
A versatile and proactive attitude, with the ability to learn new systems and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills - confident handling both phone and email correspondence.
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
Familiarity with Sage 50 accounting software.
Proficiency in Excel and other office tools.
High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in logistics, exports, or a similar administrative function.
Strong working knowledge of UK VAT and tax procedures.
