We are seeking a dedicated Office & HR Administrator, which combines office management with HR responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a positive work environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive and compliant work environment that supports employee well-being and company culture.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 08.00-13.00
Contracted Hours: 25 hrs per week
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate with external contractors for calibration, maintenance, servicing and repairs.
Ensure office/workshop compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Support the planning and delivery of company events, team-building activities, and celebrations.
Maintain accurate employee records, files, and documents in accordance with company policies via the HR platform.
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
Maintain employee records, including personal information, performance evaluations, and training records using HR platform.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documents, conducting orientation, and assisting with exit interviews.
Coordinate training and development programs for employees.
Manage payroll information, benefits, and leave requests.
Assist with employee performance review systems and assist with employee engagement activities.
Ensure company policies are effectively implemented and in compliance with current employment legislation.
Handle employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters (policies, benefits) and conduct HR meetings.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required
Proven experience in office administration and/or human resources (2+ years).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.
Knowledge of Employment legislation and HR best practices.
Ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
Strong multitasking abilities and ability to work under pressure.
CIPD Level 3 certified preferred but not essential.
