We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
Administrative Assistant
to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has experience in both administrative support and payroll/financial systems, particularly with Xero.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily office operations including answering phone calls and welcoming visitors.
Maintain accurate and well-organised filing systems and perform data entry tasks.
Provide administrative support through correspondence, document preparation, and email management.
Assist with HR functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining staff records.
Oversee payroll processing, invoicing, and bookkeeping using Xero.
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments to ensure operational efficiency.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
Proficiency in
Xero
and a good understanding of payroll and bookkeeping processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and supporting team needs.
