Office AdministratorCentral LondonSalary dependent on experienceOur well-established client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to oversee the daily operations of their legal office.The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks, support legal professionals, and ensure the smooth functioning of the office. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and an understanding of legal procedures and office management.Administrationxc2xb7 Oversee daily office operations, ensuring day-to-day office tasks are completed (e.g., handling phones, post, and DX).xc2xb7 Manage workflow allocation by assessing and tracking fee earner capacity to ensure the effective distribution of incoming work.xc2xb7 Implement and improve office procedures and administrative workflows.xc2xb7 Maintain office supplies, equipment, and technology, coordinating repairs and replenishments as needed.xc2xb7 Maintain the meeting room diary.xc2xb7 Initiate and maintain business relationships with suppliers of products and services.xc2xb7 Assist with office relocation projects or any mergers with other firms.xc2xb7 Provide PA support to partners, including diary management and travel bookings.xc2xb7 Assist in arranging the staff Christmas party, staff socials, and any other events as required.Premises Managementxc2xb7 Deal with any fire alarm checks/evacuation fire drills with landlord.xc2xb7 Ensure premises look professional and clean through the organisation of the cleaning contractors and company shredding arrangements.xc2xb7 Liaising with the landlord and management agent with regards to any office issues.xc2xb7 Ensure compliance with legal regulations and firm policies.Human Resources Managementxc2xb7 Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.xc2xb7 Maintain employee records and coordinate HR-related administrative tasks.xc2xb7 Consider any flexible working requests and maintain desk rotas.xc2xb7 Assist with the rollout and revision of new policies, including the employee handbook/office manual.xc2xb7 Perform any other duties required to support the efficient running of the HR department.Legal Compliancexc2xb7 Bank panel management xe2x80x93 ensure we are up to date on all bank panels, including Lender Exchange and LMS, and maintain records of panel details.xc2xb7 Assist in managing CPD records for solicitors and booking training courses.xc2xb7 Oversee and assisting with office archiving.xc2xb7 Support data protection and confidentiality protocols.xc2xb7 Assist with any other compliance tasks.
