Job Description



Central Office staff work closely with schools, offering a wealth of expertise to underpin schools\xe2\x80\x99 own knowledge. Our specialist departments, including HR, finance, technology, strategy and performance, estates, and marketing, work alongside dedicated school improvement teams. By joining us, you will provide ongoing support to schools, ultimately improving the outcomes of our pupils. The Role: We have an exciting opportunity to provide first point of contact for visitors to our London office and on the United Learning main telephone number. This position will ensure the London office runs smoothly, providing administrative support. Your efficient and meticulous standards will make you a valuable member of this busy office. You will support colleagues by answering external and internal calls, meeting and greeting all visitors, and booking hire cars and taxis. You will also be responsible for managing the meeting room calendars and hot desks bookings, maintaining stationery, liaising with the landlord and processing invoices. This is a full-time, permanent role based in our London Office in London Bridge, 5 days per week. Hours of work are negotiable but based on 08.30 \xe2\x80\x93 17.00 Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday being in the office. Total 37.5 hours per week. Interviews will take place on the 14th December at our London Office. About You You will have experience of working as an Office Administrator in a busy and demanding office and we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in working with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • Educated to GCSE pass (or equivalent), in English and Maths.
  • Excellent administrative and typing skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and Teams.
  • High level of initiative, efficiency and flexibility.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and proactively manage own workload whilst working to deadlines.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
