We are looking for an Office Assistant to join an exciting, growing company based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. We are ideally looking for candidates with a background in administration or previous office experience as the team are really looking for someone to hit the ground running and make the role their own.

Day to day you will find yourself supporting the Project Managers and the Director to ensure everything is running smoothly. We are looking for someone proactive with a good eye to detail as you will be responsible for updating the company\xe2\x80\x99s internal system once you have carried out your daily tasks.

The role is fully-site based; hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. The salary for this position is paying between \xc2\xa325,000 to \xc2\xa326,500 depending on candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience. Duties to include:

  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are implemented across all projects working.
  • Attending health and safety meetings.
  • Taking minutes and updating online planning systems.
  • Ensuring new starters have the correct procedures and inductions in place.
  • Site operative inductions and onboarding.
  • Respond to client inquiries via email and telephone.
  • Arranging staff\'s site visits.
  • Organising Project Manager calendars.
  • Managing office email inboxes.
  • Organise materials from budget templates.
  • Sending out Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Logging daily operations updates onto online planners.
  • Organising completion certificates after project end.
  • Attend weekly project meetings.
Candidate requirements:
  • A positive attitude to work.
  • Proficiency using office IT applications especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Thorough and meticulous person with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
  • Adaptable and flexible in their approach to work.
