Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings. This role involves evaluating patients' needs, developing personalised treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment processes and strategies for improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated with the latest medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge relevant to occupational therapy practices. Provide support in critical care settings as needed, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Skills

Proficient in case management practices to effectively coordinate patient care. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to therapy. Familiarity with medical terminology essential for effective communication within healthcare teams. Ability to work in critical care situations while maintaining composure under pressure. Knowledge of speech therapy techniques is an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
