Responsibilities:

\xe2\x80\x93 Daily Patient Care: You will have daily contact with a high caseload of patients, their families, and other professionals/services involved in their care. Your expertise and support will make a significant impact on their well-being.

\xe2\x80\x93 Specialised Equipment: Assess and provide specialised equipment to patients, monitoring its effectiveness and instructing clients and carers in safe handling and use.

\xe2\x80\x93 Service Development: Actively contribute to service development by undertaking tasks such as audit, service evaluation, and planning. Take part in regular business, professional, and educational meetings of the Occupational Therapy service.

Requirements:

\xe2\x80\x93 BSc (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy and registration with HCPC.

\xe2\x80\x93 Ongoing CPD: Demonstrate evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development through the maintenance of a current CPD portfolio.

\xe2\x80\x93 Experience and Knowledge: Significant post-qualification experience in core areas of Occupational Therapy. A basic knowledge of relevant mental and physical health, social, and housing legislation.

\xe2\x80\x93 Team Collaboration: Ability to involve your team in change processes and recognise their strengths and areas in need of development in a collaborative way.
