Derbyshire County Council are looking for an Occupational Therapist for their Disabled Child and Adults Team.

This will be a hybrid post working from offices in high peak and working from home.

You will be assisting disabled people in independent living within the community, so that maximum independence in the physical, psychological, social and economic aspects of life are achieved. Providing and maintaining high standards of professional practice in the Area of Occupational Therapy service

Qualifications required - Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy

The successful applicant:
Must have experience of working in Adult Social Care, Equipment, Major and Minor Adaptations, Moving and Handling.
*Will be required to carry out visits to clients across the High Peak area as required
*Must be a hard worker and able to work autonomously.
*Have excellent communication skills
Use of mosaic would be an advantage
