What type of breed are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic pet lover who has a true passion for pet nutrition and an interest in petfood legislation. As a Nutrition Intern, you will support the Pet Nutritionist with a variety of projects including but not limited to product development, literature research and translating scientific papers to consumer-friendly messages, developing educational materials and creating databases for the whole company to use as reference point. So, if you're someone who has great attention to detail, enjoys writing content, loves to sink their teeth into a challenging project, wants to help ensure the Brand, Product and Impact team is equipped with the right information to create the coolest products and are ready to dive deeper into various parts of the product development and pet nutrition, then this might be THE role for you!

What will be in your bowl?

Assist our Pet Nutritionist with Nutrition related projects Update our knowledge hub with the latest insights in pet nutrition Create educational podcasts on a variety of nutritional topics for company education Conduct literature research and translate them to easy bite sized knowledge nuggets Help out with some admin jobs like beautifying our databases Being the BPI team's intern means life is full of surprises, so we might throw in some other fun stuff to do

What skills & tricks should you bring?

Deep affinity with pets and nutrition, of course! Interest in pet food industry Confident translating scientific literature to consumer-friendly language Critical thinking and eye for detail You are available for at least 6 months Clever with IT Have an Animal Science related Bachelor/Master's Degree Comfortable working independently and proactive mindset You are fluent in English Right to work in the UK

: A 'get to know' call with the Pet Nutritionist and a final call with head of R&D and the Pet Nutritionist.
