Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Manager has arisen at our home in Blackburn.

The home is a dual registered, 47 bedded home for people living with Dementia. We care for people from the early stages of dementia to advanced dementia including those who have nursing needs. The homes has maintained a good rating with CQC.

We are a family run care group providing residential and nursing care for the elderly. We provide quality care for our residents and pride ourselves on the happy, welcoming atmosphere in our homes. We residential and nursing needs, for both long term and respite periods.

We are currently looking for a caring, organised and experienced Manager for this role.

Key Responsibilities:



Managing and developing high quality services for all our residents Developing and guiding the team of staff. Encourage and instil a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service Actively working with staff, residents and their families, to help shape and develop a centre of excellence for person-centred care. The promotion of high standards of nursing care, following CQC and NMC guidelines, by ensuring all staff are managed appropriately and the home runs in a smooth and efficient manner.

Leading and managing in health and social care Supporting and developing teams Implementing regulatory and governance tools to maintain compliance Effective communication Working with partners Leading a person-centred service Leading in Safeguarding and mental capacity Making decisions Managing resources Learning and innovating Managing personal development and wellbeing

Essential:



Dual Registered Nurse qualified with active NMC Pin

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role.

Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Equivalent Management qualification

Knowledgeable with Electronic HR Platforms

Knowledgeable with Office 365 tools

Knowledgeable with Electronic Learning Platforms

An enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role
